Very good game in general!!
Ok so this is my opinion on genshin, it’s an amazing game that really is fun. Though the only problems is probably the farming for the currency to pull for characters, the currency to farm for the character’s materials to level them up, and finally of course is the storage.
To start off, the primogem(currency to pull for characters) system is extremely stingy but of course that is to make it addictive.
Secondly, the resin(currency to farm) regenerates slowly. Like I mean SLOWLY. The game has also not increased the maximum resin since early game, unlike Honkai: Star Rail(another one of Hoyoverse’s games).
Lastly, the storage. Well, the storage is a BIG problem for many players, especially mobile ones, such as myself. Because of this, some of our devices do not have enough storage to update the game and are forced to quit. The devs cant do anything about this, so this is just a warning to those who want to play the game: make sure you have enough storage! The devs actually input a feature where you can delete the data from the previous quests, which helps A LOT, however, I could not do that as the game has to download the new patch’s resources and could not due to insufficient storage.(i literally had 14 GB free idk y)

shocking how this is free
Been playing it for the last three months and im honestly pretty shocked at the recent backlash on genshin’s anniversary, it was free from the get go, with beautiful graphics and the rendering of the characters were amazing. It takes alot of time, effort and man power to do all of this, Mihoyo is not like a million workers so its pretty impressive how much content they churn out even though its a few events every few months. As a switch player i spend 80$ on games itself so having a game on par as a 80$ Zelda game is amazing to have for free i don’t get the criticism as you can literally play the whole
game F2P with the characters given. With so many players saying a company is greedy, it doesn’t make sense as all other games i play are equally as pay to win but genshin doesn't have a pay to win? the people criticising the games the most are people who has never stepped into a working environment with high stress i bet. Instead of being civil they just choose to attack, its honestly just 1-4 people at the top of mihoyo that gives out the decisions yall need to chill out on the attacking its a amazing game nonetheless. They could have been like pokemon, and charged u 80$ per expansion that gave u basically crap nothing content but no one complains about pokemon? genshin gives those out for free 💀
Complex and well thought out
When I first heard of it I didn’t think much of it as I assumed it was one of those regular average rpg games. But judging from how far genshin has come in the minuscule span of a year, I think we can agree genshin is definitely not just average. Everything from the music to the graphics and storyline is good and keeps me immersed in the game and waiting for the next update or event. This is definitely the best game I have ever played and I hope that everyone at least gives themselves time to enjoy the game before deciding whether to continue or not. While there is a big advantage to those who are willing to spend money, there is no real need to pay. I have been f2p since the start and don’t intend to spend anytime soon but from what I can tell this game is quite generous with the day to day primogems compared to other games. While some people might be complaining about anniversary rewards I think that with all the events coming out the same time as the anniversary, as long as you’re willing to earn the primogems there is no need for a big anniversary reward.
