Gentler Streak is a health and fitness tracker that prioritises your wellbeing. It helps find the right balance between exercise and rest. App responds to your readiness and proposes daily workout actions that keep you within healthy activity levels. Rest days are part of the actions that keep the streak going. Instead of chasing 10k steps, rings, ... you keep the streak going by responding to your daily readiness: be it a rest, a mild activity, or an intense one. If your health metrics indicate poor wellbeing that will reflect in Gentler Streak guidance.

Download and use Gentler Streak for free. Choose among auto-renewing subscriptions to upgrade to Gentler Streak Premium. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Manage subscription plans and turn off auto-renewal in Account Settings > Manage subscriptions after purchase. If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication.

Audible beeps for HR zones?

Great app. I have been using Garmin watches for the past 5 years and it’s always got an inbuilt workout-recovery function that’s missing in Apple Watches. Found Gentler streak app and this app filled in the gaps. App is simple, nice to look at, very informative, and straight to the point. The Apple Watch graphics are nice, and shows HR zones at a glance.

However to the developer; I think it will be great if audible beeps could be introduced. For example; if I want to keep my HR down in zone 2 and not cross over to zone 3 or higher, the app could notify me in my earphones that I’m over the zone, with an audible beep. That’d be really helpful. Thanks and kudos!

Am I just supposed to lie down the whole day?

So apparently, I’m overreached the moment I get out of bed.

Oh, that sounds unfortunate. :)

Here are the most common reasons why “overreaching” could be creeping up on you:
- you are new to tracking activities or have just started using Apple Watch (providing us less than 60 days of info)
- you are coming back from an injury, illness, break (longer than 14 days)
- your active life happens in bursts, and those bursts are usually intense, followed by days of inactivity
- you are new to being regularly active, and are still building your fitness base

If any of the above fits the shoe, expect the app to stabilize within 10-14 days. Until then keep living your life the way you are used to, and ignore the messages. Once we have enough data, we will be able to start guiding you.

If none of the above seems right, please send over screenshot of:
- your Activity Path
- Summary of the past 3 workouts (at least one that sent you overreaching) with heart rate zones

Can’t connect to my Apple Watch Series 7.

I already enabled all the health detail of me to be sent to this app but on my watch they said I need to enable my health detail on my phone when I already sent it.
