Unable to close pop up ads
Tried killed the app. Open again. But whenever I want to read a news the ads pop up again and no matter how many times I tapped on the ‘x’ the ads just won’t close and I had to kill the app again.
Interesting app content but the app is unusable and annoying at times
The content in the app is good for casual readings but recently there is a pop-up ad when launching the app. I do not mind having some ads in the app but please allow users to close it. This pop-up ad (a blank page) is preventing me from accessing the content in the app as there is no close button anywhere on the screen (even after I waited for several minutes). I restarted the app again and faced with the same issues. After several futile attempts, it becomes really annoying and I just gave up entirely on the app. Nevertheless, the app will resume its normal function (without the pop-up ads blocking me) after awhile. Overall, this app is decent but there is a room for improvements.

In order to provide a better experience, we have since removed all interstitial advertisements which should have solved the issue in the latest update (Version 2.3.9). Annoying advertisements with no close icon!
It is frustrating that I need to dl the app to have the full content of the articles I want to read but it is okay because I know you guys have bills to pay. It is also ok that there are advertisements in every news I want to read. But can you please at least make it a way that I can close the advertisement? It is stupid that I have to relaunch every time. I saw a user reviewed the same issue 1 yr ago and I am surprised this is still not fixed. You can go your app yourself and see which advertisements do not have “close” icon. Hopefully you can fix it soon.
