Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery 12+

I have loved everything about this game since I saw my friend playing it and now I’m an avid player. There are only 3 improvements that can be made.

Firstly the animation that plays once each star is reached during lessons, which can frankly be a lot less long-winded and redundant, and secondly, the graphics can be more varied as well - i’d like to go into Transfiguration and see something other than a cat on the desk. Thirdly, when playing gobstones, Meal With A Friend or doing other interactions, the questions could have more variety.

Other than those possible improvements, it’s an amazing game that satisfies any Potterhead’s craving. Waiting for energy is an added bonus as it prevents you from being addicted to the game. Overall really satisfying to play and I can’t wait for new updates.

I’m a really avid fan of Harry Potter but this game is really too much. Have the developers been thinking when making the game? There are a long list of issues that come along in the game. Firstly, each year’s adventure gets more and more stupid as there are few classes and locations to go to. Secondly, the most annoying part is when the energy bars take forever to refill and like two minutes to use up. The time for each task is just way too long, for example rowan helping to decode the notebook takes three hours and 18 energy. We can’t even go to do other tasks!
The most infuriating part is the rock-paper-scissors method of dueling, which takes up way too many coins and is not even based on skill.
The ‘lessons’ are very boring and there’s little reference to the books and movies. On top of that, the quests are too short as the time limit decreases and decreases. I missed out one small part of the lesson to unlock the animagus form, and when I woke up the adventure was over. Does this even sound fair?
The developers also charge a LOT for things like special packages(frankly useless) and energy.
This is a very disappointing game and I hate that the developers do not even read the comments. Please also fix minor bugs in this game.

The game appears really interesting at first but after a while, it just became either too boring or expensive to play. The only way to really play it without interruptions is to keep buying gems - otherwise you can’t even get through a lesson without long pauses to refill the energy needed to play. And you can’t be away from it too Long otherwise the game reboots.

The game doesn’t require any real thought or strategy, not even in the dueling which is little more than a Rock Paper Scissors game. And we keep having to repeat lessons just to pass a class. What a waste of time!

While the creators need to make money, they need to make sure players are getting some value for their money. Otherwise players will just go on to better games out there. In this game’s case I suspect more thought went into planning a game that makes as much money as possible rather than one that is truly an enjoyable gaming experience. I’ve deleted the game from my device.
