Honest review as one of the first players
This game is pretty great! My only regret is that I was actually one of the very first players of this game but I deleted it as the file size was too big. After coming back 3 years later, the game is still amazing, though not very conducive for newer players as there are items that can only be collected for a limited time which I lost. Although back in 2016 I was informed that my account had been linked to a Mihoyo and Facebook account, my previous account is still lost.
To me, the biggest issue that turns me away is the large file size as there are many new events which could easily be recycled.
In all, Honkai Impact 3 is an amazing game with a cool playstyle, though it’s a bit hard to catch up and a lot of time is needed. I quite regret not continuing to play.
Not enough coins
The game is splendidly amazing! It is so addictive to play because it’s very enjoyable! However, there’s a little bit of flaw. I always seem to lack the coins to level up my Valkyries’ skill points. Even when they are discounted, the price to pay to level up their skills are still ever so exorbitant! :( Even with my half million coins, it is still insufficient to fund for all the number of Valkyries that I have to level their skills up. Secondly, I find it hard to obtain weapons for the Valkyrie Theresa. Even in the option of many shops, I can rarely see weapons that is fitting for Theresa, unless her special ver, which is Sakuno Rondo, which is difficult to acquire unless you purchase from the equipment supply, which needs a lot of crystals to buy. I understand you want to generate income, which is why you sort of pushed people to the corner so as to pressure them to buy more crystals, but I think it is only fair to pay attention to each of the Valkyries’ needs.

was originally a genshin impact fan before i decided to try out honkai on a whim as it's their anniversary. boy was i pleasantly surprised! the fast-paced hack and slash style of honkai makes things really fun and engaging but what really got me was how generous they were for their anniversary, and just to new players in general :O giving us an S-rank valkyrie and beginners also get chances to get a free S-rank and then another one with discounted pulls (around 24!).
i'm also in love with the characters and the cute and fluffy storyline that slowly becomes more dark. i usually put off trying new games because i worry the mechanics or story might be too complicated but honkai is so simple and accessible for beginners and i love it! not to mention i'm in love with some of these character designs, you can tell effort was put into them and they look so good!
overall i dont regret downloading at all and will continue to support honkai impact in the future :)
