Hungryy: Halal Food Delivery 4+

Great choices for Halal food all around the island. Bad communications between hungryy team, food provider and assigned delivery personnel to get the food delivered to customer.

1st experience: took over 2 hours for food to be delivered as delivery personnel cancelled without informing hungryy team. Took another 30mins to find another delivery personnel.

2nd experience: order was cancelled by restaurant without our knowledge. No notification was given by the app to inform us.

I’ve seen the reviews of other users. For those who give feedback about the price, personally I expect the food to be pricier than if I went to the shops myself.

I would have to dress up, find parking, pay for parking, queue up, go back to my car, go home, dress down, eat.

For $10 delivery, it is a bargain for me. No complaints. If you’re not ready to pay for the convenience then please don’t use the app.

The app wasn’t buggy at all, food arrived in 30 minutes (It would have taken me 15 minutes to drive there) and it’s raining!

Maybe my expectations for the app was low that’s why I’m happy with it overall, no complaints whatsoever.

It was seamless and smooth, price is fair for the convenience of me watching Netflix while waiting for my food 11km away.

So use it, try it and ignore the sad reviews (unless it’s a valid review, like bugs etc)

As a starter, would be good to have a functional feedback system in the app that customers can get through. The number left on the app is of no use as orders will happen around the clock and when issues arise out of working hours, there will be no one to attend to it. Also, have a team of well trained customer service staff to properly get back to customers and not leave them hanging. This is how you gain app users’ trust and they will come back to you if service recovery is there even if there were improvements to be made in the initial orders. Otherwise, people are just thinking twice to order again.
