KLWY ,

A game like no other before it❤️ (anyone who reads this review gets a free cookie🍪:)

➡️I did not know what to expect when I first saw this game. Banger racing? Too good to be true? There were NO written reviews to tell me what lay behind the app icon, so I could only trust that the developers had good intentions. Desperate for decent entertainment, I flipped a coin, took my chances, and hit ‘install’. I’m glad I did. ➡️I began my first race and was beyond impressed. The graphics reflected the real world well but with a cortoonish touch added to it that made the game both cool and corny at the same time. The way the camera vibrated violently when driving gave a sense of action and drama which went fitted with the game’s violent nature and I LOVE IT!! Dimension technics was NOT capping when they said ‘action packed crash race’! Every second there was a least TWO crazy collisions that sent cars flying in your direction. There was NEVER a moment where the chaos and mayhem let up; you were almost never ‘going around in boring circles’. Even long-winded races (25 laps!) were fun to play! I can presume that the team must have put in a lot to perfect it, AND THEY DID! just like they did for every other part of the game, almost every part. ➡️The cars are, okay. No, there is no Bugatti as a thousand other games have already done that. What you do get are some humble cars, such as the Beetle and the Lada. From here the car collection slowly works its way up to some intermediate level vehicles, such as the 911 all the way to the god-tier machines, which includes the GT-R, a Bentley and of course, the Legendary Supra. ➡️There is a lot to delight the eye in the interior, which apart from the inanimate gauges, the 144p textures, and a few blurred spots, would leave any car enthusiast drooling. The dev team must have raided many showrooms in order to acheive this. If only they had looked at, other parts of the motor vehicle. (🗣️is for developers, ➡️for players) 🗣️The engine, come on guys, you could have done at least something a tad bit better than a texture with elevation. Mind you, they are more superior than an asset with an Alamy stock image of a Toyota engine. They used 3d rendering, black magic and shadows to make it look real and at a certain angle, it actually looks legit, but I always know, NOTHING beats the real thing. (Please, you guys did it for the 911, how about the others?) 🗣️The cars are also missing a proper chassis. I see floating wheels, connected to the car using nothing but well-written lines of programming. It looks “tacky” and makes the cars look not only incomplete, but also 6ft above the ground. There is even a small hump in some of the cars which is where the axle should have been, but it isn't. It has been squashed into a Google image of an undercarriage, the 2d-printed driveshaft never made it to the wheels. If this is ever going to change, and it should, because this is precisely the kind of quality issues that plague the mobile world, then start with a suspension model as this is the kind of game advanced enough to have its own suspension system ;) ➡️The damage model sadly, isn't all that crazy either; the car is deforms around the rollcage, and thats it. After that the car doesn’t take any more damage. The hood actually deforms like it should IRL, with it folding up when hit, I have never any other game that did that before, so, WOW!🤩 The hood gets impacted more than the car itself, which only looks a bit poorly, and the interior doesn't deform at all😩💀 ➡️This works for small-scale collisions, where cars trade a little bit of paint with one another, but this is Derby Madness🗣️🔥, where cars get flung into walls and people, ‘a little rugged up’ will not do!😜 🗣️I understand that adding a full mesh deformation is a difficult process, but pretty much every other part of this game is good to go, I want to see what else you guys can do, because right now, the rollage is really doing its job so, TONE IT DOWN PLEASE, ITS TOO STRONG! 🗣️I want to see cars crumpled up like paper emerge from the banger race, not look like they're about to enter one. 🗣️ Also, can you make the bits of metal and glass land on the ground (then fade off?) instead of just disappearing into the wind, it will look more realistic as a banger circuit wouldn’t be that clean🧹 ➡️ The racers in the game are all their own unique character; they are mainly ordinary people who just came to race in their everyday vehicle, with what they drive representing who they are. 🗣️So, why not make the drivers in these cars the different faces that hover over each opponent, instead of the same low-poly, blue racesuit dude that sits inside them now? ➡️This game came out of nowhere, as it does not have any of the traditional assets usually used in car crashing games. It takes a rather new and underrated genre here in the mobile cesspit and puts it together into a full game. Its amazing as not many people can can create a good one. This game is 100% polished with me not encountering a single bug ever since I had started my journey in Derby Madness. Although it can be cheesy at times, whether it is from the goofy turbo fire that comes out under the tyres, or the ‘Oohs’ and ‘Ahhs’ from the spectators when you yeet people, there is some advanced stuff hidden everywhere in this game, regardless of whether its the realtime reflections, the way the driver gets knocked about in his seat, how he takes one hand off the wheel to change gear or how the bushes rustle when you drive through them, every little thing, cringe or awesome, made this game better. The developers have spent a lot of their time and effort to make this and it warms my heart whenever I see Derby Madness as Game Of The Day and I just want to say, Thank You Dimension Technics, for making this for us😊❤️🙏👍(heres your cookie🍪)
