Great Concept

My kids are having fun learning while playing the games.

One thing that definitely needs fixing is the terrible way the letter “i” is pronounced in the app. It’s simply does sound incorrect (confirmed on several devices) and confuses the kids.

Edit: Thank you development team for your response and pointing out how to utilize the practice mode to replay previous games with different letters.

As for the pronunciation of the “i”, is there a way that I could send you a recording on how it sounds on all the devices we have at home? I’m not sure in what English speaking country it is supposed to be pronounced like it sounds in the app. It’s definitely not an issue of background noises.

Of course we’d be happy to help you, please get in touch with us at support@teachyourmonstertoread.com. Include any and all details about the “i” sounds with a video of what’s happening so we can understand what you are experiencing.
A little bit more information on our app; Our app is rigorously tested and enjoyed by millions of kids in schools across the UK and USA and is designed with leading academics from the UK's University of Roehampton to complement all synthetics phonics programs.
We hope this helps show just how passionate we are about getting these sounds and aspects of our app right when teaching children to learn using phonics!
We look forward to hearing from you and helping you to get this sorted. :)
Thank you

Hi there, sorry to hear you are having issues with sounds on your device. We endeavor to ensure pronunciations of all letter sounds are perfect and they're all done by trained specialists. Sometimes the audio, volume and background noises can make hearing the nuanced sounds quite tricky. I suggest you switch the music off in settings to see if that helps.
As for repeating the letter sounds there is an option, on the apps main menu there is a practice button. From here you can replay all of the games Minigames and with any letter sound you would like. There is also the 10-minute adventure mode which you can play again with any letter sound combination.
We hope that helps your children manage to complete all three games and become a certified Champion Reader!
If you have any further problems, get in touch with us at support@teachyourmonstertoread.com where we can help you. Include any and all details about your issue, perhaps with a video of what’s going wrong and we’ll try to fix it for you.
We also have a new game coming out very soon, it's called Reading for Fun! Please keep and eye out for that in the near future.
Thank you.
