Long Time Fan
Played since their flash days a decade ago. Buying stuff here just to give thanks for this flawlessly executed fun tower defence that inspired so many copycats.
Better than PC flash version!
Bought this as a trial as I have played the flash version before. This is just great! Generally the iPad version is much better than the flash version. Graphic 9/10 cartoonish style but it fits this game so well. The little bubbles that appeared during fight are icing to the cake. Boss fights are incredible! Game play 8/10 except for the earlier maps, this game really needs you to think. On some maps, it is even near impossible to win with three stars on the first try. Strangely the difficult part seems to be the first few minutes in which you need to build up your towers. Once that mature, the rest of the stage gets easier. Content 9/10 as always we are asking for more. Given the price, this game packs a good amount. You even get the premium content in the same package. Only bad point is you lose the lighting spell and the extra stars (and also the sun tower!). Sound 10/10 strangely the sound fits this game so well that it becomes an essential. Normally I would turn off sound in such games as they soon turn repetitive. This game isn't complete without the sound! Overall 9/10 except that it is a bit short compared to Plants versus Zombies, this is the best Tower Defense game I played. Definitely a good buy!
Great game! Want more!
Awesome game. Wish there were more levels, more upgrades, just more everything. After buying all the upgrades, all my extra stars are just screaming for something to buy. Almost perfect except the encyclopedia ought to give more info on special abilities.
