Potentially great game IF properly executed.
This game has so much potential. From the f2p to the p2w to the newbies to the elites to the different heroes and balancing of MOST of the heroes. It really has been a pleasure playing this game. However, the Developers are now into making money more than making a game. New heroes come in too fast, heroes that needed buffs were overlooked, new heroes are too overpowered or should I say, unbalanced. There’s no point playing if Vespa goals are to just earn profits and money rather than making a game that has somewhat a good community. Every time a game gets this good, it diverges off into the money world instead of continuing the good game community. I was a member of a guild previously and was promoted to a manager without knowing. It felt like somewhat an achievement. My guild mates are friendly and the team spirit is there. It’s a well-made community by Vespa. Newbies getting help from the elites, good welcoming. Vespa, please stop trying to profit a lot. Relax, if you don’t go too hard, your players won’t leave the game as quickly as the come.
Changes in game
In all honesty, I wasn’t sure that I played it this long but I did. 2 years, even if it’s on and off at times. That’s how long I’ve played the game and how long it’s gripped my attention. There were quite a few stumbles, especially in terms of hero balancing, but it’s now quite good. Meta is balanced as long as you go onto various websites and caters to f2p players like me very nicely. Just needs time and effort. Good games for those willing to invest time and effort in it.
A crisis reveals a developer's attitude
Used to give it 5 stars, but after a few announcements after the blue summon item incident, it is clear that they are not going to address the gap and unhappiness by both f2p and p2w players. Which brings up to previously Long ago promises not fulfilled yet for months: hero balances, esp relating to arch, knights and assassins. Well anyways, it is up to vespa to see fit that this incident, similar to the mass banning exercises, do not spill over to larger incidents in the future.
Update(1 to 2 stars): The CEO apologised after 3 weeks from the incident while putting a single person as the scapegoat. Game introduces a hard mode for a boss that is already very difficult for the casual player, which gives an item only obtainable from there. An excellent game for those who want to put in pro player effort, and a very steep growing curve for new players.
Update 2(2 to 1 Star): iOS 11 players seem to be unable to update the game, no mention on that along with enchant system bug, a staff even asked a player to go play store to download. Fyi vespa, ios users use App Store not play store.
Update 3: iOS 11 players have only one way of updating the game: reinstalling
