Description
Rowing is an effective full-body workout. Whether at home or in the gym, rowing improves your health and fitness .
KiraRowing supports you in your rowing training. You can create individual training profiles - from simple warm-ups to challenging rowing workouts with varying intensity in the intervals of your training profile.
Your workouts are saved in Apple Health. Track your training success through Apple Health or Apple Fitness, whether you complete your training at home or in the gym.
If you have paired an Apple Watch with your iPhone, the movement pattern of a rowing cycle is analysed and measured using the sensors of the Apple Watch. Your stroke rate per minute specification serves as a guideline for your training in this case. However, the actual rowing strokes are measured using the Apple Watch.
Features:
- Individual training profiles
- Training with time limit and progress indicator
- Interval training
- The sensors of your paired Apple Watch track your individual movement pattern (stroke cycle)
- Capture heart rate via your paired Apple Watch or alternatively a Bluetooth HR sensor if no Apple Watch is paired with your iPhone
- Specify the number of strokes per minute for each interval of your training
- Animation of the stroke based on the specified stroke rate
- Determination of energy consumption
- Importing training data into Apple Health
KiraRowing can be used without Apple Watch. In this case, the use of a Bluetooth HR sensor is recommended and the number of strokes is estimated by the stroke rate specification and the duration of the training.
KiraRowing can also be used on an iPad, but without Apple Watch support only.
What’s New
Version 1.2.0
The animation of the stroke cycle is now divided into a 1/3 pull phase and 2/3 recovery phase.
Revised view to create a training. Individual phases of the training can now be defined in a second range. Thus, intensive but short phases can be defined in an interval training. The input can be done in minutes: seconds notation as '0:20' or simply as '20' seconds.
The training view has been optimised. The total duration of a training session is shown and the training progress is displayed visualised.
More then one bluetooth device can now be connected. In version 1.1 connected bluetooth HR devices must be reconnected because a migration to version 1.2 was not possible.
Performance and stability improvements.
