Good dnd alternative
Loved the first version of this so gave the new one a try. It’s really a good mobile alternative to a full DnD experience. Microtransactions are there but they’re not a must have. Love the level of mix-and-matching you need to do with your characters. Hope this game gets more recognition with the amount of thought put into it. Expecting to play this for hours!
Microtransactions ruined this game
Yes, people have to eat and this has probably earned them a lot more money. What was my favorite RPG is now a pay to win, watch add for free travel or ressurection, purchase furniture crapfest. Gold rewards are less and is a grind now. Furniture can only be purchased with special currency that, guess what, can only be purchased with money.
Additional content like classes and quests locked behind paywalls. But I paid full price for the app previously, and would have gladly paid for additional content. The game still has remnants of the great game it used to be, make no mistake, but the experience is vastly worsened by asking me to watch ads and pay money at every turn.
Fishing for p2w??
I had given 4 stars originally but decided to downgrade the stars because I realised the game just wants you to pay for diamonds. When I had 91 diamonds saved after a week of playing, the game tempt me with new character or new adventure at 100 diamonds. When I finally reached 100 diamonds, the same new character and the same adventure pack now cost 200 diamonds!! WTH!! If developers insisted that players should p2w then please make it clear. Or make it a one time purchase. I might consider one time purchase just like I did for KoPnP 1. Come on… this is just not being honest.
