Plz fix iCloud Sync!
The dictionary is great, however, should fix the iCloud Sync cause all my bookmarks are missed, omg. Hope the next version you could make it right thx
Bad experience! Low performance!
1. After the app is updated to adapt to iOS 16, it often crashes!!
2. Downloading offline example is very slow. My Internet bandwidth is 1GB. I downloaded it many times, each time taking half an hour, and then the installation always reported an error, and must begin the download again.
3. Words that have been saved cannot be synchronized with iCloud, and the history will disappear after some times!
4. The app description supports Apple family members, but the App cannot be found in the family purchase records, it must down by the purchaser himself account.
5. Every time you search for a new word, you must manually delete the old search record. This is a very simple function that can be done when you click the query button. Why can't it be supported after so long time?
6. The screen content always pause and shake when you click the favorite button, WHY?
Developer Response ,
1. The newest version fixes a lot of issues with iOS16.
2. Our downloads are set to very low priority. Best to restart the device, start the download before you go to sleep and keep the app open. If you close it, it will timeout.
3. Version 14.0 has an entirely new iCloud sync system. History can also be saved. We have also doubled the number of entries in History.
4. That is how the Apple system works, it seems.
5. We want to keep the entered word around -so that users can look for similar words etc. There is a setting to open to a new search every time the app opens.
iPhone's main search feature keeps it there too, but recently they have it selected so typing will delete it.
We added shake to clear the field instead.
6. That Apple's animation system. We will see if we can make it smoother.
Useful dictionary
The dictionary is useful, yet it can enhance further by adding more illustrative figures. Some words cannot be found in the dictionary, e.g. theorbo.
What’s the difference from LDCE5?

"What’s the difference from LDOCE5?" This one is an IAP purchase.
Some people can not use IAP. The apps are functional the same. The PLUS version has the Activator Thesaurus added to it.
Version 10 now has an online dictionary fall-back feature to cover words beyond the scope of a learner's dictionary. -including "theorbo"
