great app for learning japanese!
i find it better than duolingo and lingodeer, firstly because it allows you practice writing the kana words and hence you can remember them easier! and the phrases also seem conversational instead of the usual business japanese you get from other apps which you won’t use in daily life. you also get to see how the actual words are written with kanji and hiragana mixed so it’s very well thought out!
i paid for the app less than a week within trying! Very good investment and supplements Tae Kim’s website very well too. The spaced repetition reviews are very useful too. can’t wait to advance more in the app!

The writing really helps
This app is simply amazing. It’s interface is simple, but the structure and process is smooth. Being able to practice writing is invaluable. It definitely helps one remember how the characters look like much more easily. Starting with writing is indeed better than starting with learning Japanese phrases.
Crashes
Update 8-May: yayy! It’s fixed ❤️ thank you so much for the attention to details, dev! This app really helps me study the writings.

I love this app so much that I BOUGHT the paid version of it! But now it won’t even start and keeps crashing 😠😠😠
