Never come across an app like this in sg. I loved that Lemon8’s recommendations are hyperlocalised, particularly on things to do/fashion tips and cafes to check out. In fact I recognised quite a few TikTok influencers on the app sharing about cafes that they go to and their inspiration for their fashion style. I managed to check out one of the recco for chilling with friends and glad I did (Moroccan food at la fez recommended by Kai)

Great App, but the ‘Not Interested’ Option Needs Work
I really enjoy this app and have learned a lot about housing and renovations through it. I would highly recommend it to others looking for similar content. However, one downside is how ineffective the ‘Not Interested’ option is. Instead of showing me renovation content in the ‘home’ category, I kept getting bombarded with DIY and teapot content. I tried selecting ‘not interested,’ but it kept pushing content from the same two creators, to the point where my entire ‘home’ feed was taken over by them. Not even kidding! I finally had to block both creators, and when I did, the app crashed. Hilarious, but frustrating. Fix this and the app would be perfect!
Unhelpful and Horrible Customer Service and Bugged App
I am not able to log into the app as I keep facing software problems. Emailed customer service for help and they were extremely slow in responding, eventually received a reason for the inability to log in about 1 month+ later, and all they said was that it was because I tried too many times (even though the only reason I tried was because it failed the first time, right?). Reason didn't really make sense and their only solution was for me to simply log in using another device (how many people have >1 phone just lying around?). Asked them for more solutions beyond that and they have not replied since (about 1 month ago). Horrible service and do not recommend! There are other better social media apps around.
