Excellent solo game, buggy online player component
An excellent implementation of the Lost Cities game when played against the computer. The music is enchanting. It has to be heard to be believed. My first 20 plays were played without sound. But my subsequent plays I was pleasantly surprised by the soundtrack, rich, soothing enchanting and mysterious.
Very, very good soundtrack for the Lost Cities iOS app. The gameplay is faultless and design for the app is good. Wish it was updated to work with the iPhone XS screen and a version for iPad considering the price paid. This is a 2 year old app. For 2019 it could do with a few technical updates for iOS. Played on iPad and iPhone XS.
The online pairing with another Gamecenter human player did not work very well or at all from the ten or so times I’ve tried. Nonethe less, I still get to play solo and have the Lost Cities card game experience against the computer which is the main reason for this app.
It is easy to rack up about 7 plays in under 30 minutes. Each round I think can be finished in under 10 minutes. Evergreen, fast, quick, nail biting enjoyable Lost Cities experience. I own the physical copy of the card game as well.
