    Initially will try to sweet talk you to try out their service. Be positive that they can get for youThen after getting your criteria will try to go and “generate” a list for you and said have “MANY” matches for you based on your basic matches. If you want to your matches will need to payTry to make you upgrade to the max which is what I did. A BIG MISTAKEAfter told her my criteria the first match is wrong. +1 years old older than my requirement. Then start telling me my requirements cannot find any (initially said have a lot? What happened?) After they realized they cannot force me change my requirements, they delay until i totally lose my will to fight with them. I am not even sure if I can get back my refund after more than 1 year. I am confident I am neglected after I paid my money so have to say they are very very very unethical.Just an update I am married on Jan 2025. I received a follow-up on 17 April 2025 saying they still trying to find match for me. To be honest, lunch actually is a joke. Just please don’t give them your hard earn money. Don’t believe me please go ahead and try their excellent service. I had 6 matches out of which only two are ok. I paid for 10 matches based on trust that they will help because they have “lots” of matches so paying 10 matches are good. Yeah 2 matches since 2022 till now 2025. I asked for refund of my money. Guess what? They said because is so long thus they cannot REFUND me. I am a pig getting slaughtered by them. You all have been warned.

    Staffs there does not have the expertise in this area nor any knowledges on the dating industry. There isn’t any professionalism as well. They do not do people-to-people follow-up only via an email Q&A or client personally dropped a message in the app. Negative feedback they don’t bother to respond. As for the match, they are all bullocks. I’ve received so many bad reviews on LA from the matches arranged for me too—all complaints about LA way of handling their clients. The matches they’ve arranged does not seem to comply to clients requirements, needs & characters/personality. No compatibility match at all from LA hence utmost disappointment. If you sign up for the basic package (mind you it cost $3k +), they will not put you in priority nor effort unless you are a platinum/gold clients which cost close to $10k. So guys, be warned. My money seems to be like a donation already to them. Heart ache, untrustworthy & so much disappointment!!!

  • Unresponsive in the App

    Supposed to have a scheduled lunch appt last month, but requested to reschedule 4 days prior to the appt date via the Chat in App, but was not responsive. Follow-up with calls (no one answer the calls during working hrs), then follow up via the sms which I recd from about the appt schedule then a day before just gotten reply. And I was told that to request rescheduling via Chat in App or call directly will be more efficient (well I did but my requests were not attended).Then, on 2/Apr, I got contacted by the Consultant via Chat in the App, asked about which dates will be available for rescheduling, I provided 3 dates on 2/Apr unfortunately I don’t not receive any acknowledgment from the Consultant about my proposed dates till today.I personally feel that it could give a bad impression to the match, or others whom also have same experience like me, are disappointed as we believed LA could be a trusted platform.

    This company is probably insolvent, be very careful about paying for any services more than a month out in advance.In fact, do not even sign up for anything at this point, they are probably also understaffed.Background:They failed to even do a basic refund within the timeframe of 2-4 months as communicated and promised, and instead chose to drag it out to over 8 months and still trying to stall me out by pretending that “we are currently communicating with our finance team”.I wouldn’t have realised what has happened had I not opened Google Maps for the reviews over the past few months, with a few others having the same refund problem. Looking at other reviews here, the next step is to apparently respond with "good news, our finance team has approved your refund" then continued ghosting.Simply go straight to Small Claims Tribunal right after 1 month of non refund, do not let them drag it out for over a year. Also demand all interest owed while they hold your funds and pretend.THEY WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT REFUND YOU UNLESS BY FORCE.Report it to CASE immediately too.I suppose it’s probably part of their business model thinking that people would simply find it too time consuming and expensive to fight back. They expect you to give up and not ask for refund. Do not give it to them.Please also be aware that they changed their office location recently.It is also a significantly smaller co-working space in Maxwell, compared to the one in Cuppage, which again re-affirms the theory that they are likely insolvent. BEWARE.Refund or not, I will not put this down out of principles to warn other consumers about unscrupulous tactics.YOU (Lunch Actually) abused my trust and patience, taking it for granted, I will absolutely make sure you pay for it for wasting my time.

    They are fully fraud! Not a thrustable platform, liers, do not pay attention your needs, selling their product w/o giving full information, app not working, they do not respond, sales person, consultant, customer service is fully useless! DO NOT USE APP! They are fraud! Complained to authorities already!
