Amazing app at an affordable pricing
You might be wondering what’s so special about a window management tool. A lot. I always have some problems with performing multi-tasking on my 27” iMAC ever since I bought it. Somehow, it just became a habit for me to alt+tab to switch between programs. Not exactly the best way, but it got me through all these while. It’s only until I pondered across Magnet and decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. Now I really got to say that my productivity increased and with such an easy way to toogle the sizes of the application windows, I felt that the real estate of my 27” iMAC is now utilised in the proper way.
Not to forget to look at the price. This simply beats any other similar apps hands-down.
Awesome
What should have come standard on Mac, (its standard in Windows 10/11. I had to pay $10 to get it. This has proven why the Mac had a multitasking issue for a long time...the multitasking on the Mac is a mess. Hence they had to come out with Stage Manager. Magnet enables some semblance of orderly multi-tasking on the Mac by being able to do snapping vertically or horizontally or a few other ways. Good if you have a screen in portrait mode. A suggested improvement would be if I am snapping to say the right hand side, I should be offered an option to snap other windows open on the left. This should be an option for the user unlike the crap snapping function of the Mac where you HAVE to snap 2 windows or it does not snap at all. Ridiculous. Sometimes for ordering my desktop, I just one to snap one window to the right. I dont want to snap other windows for the time being.
Incredible. Can't live without it
I use Magnet hundreds of times a day. I leterally have no idea where I'd be without it. Reading an article and making notes? Moving files from place to place? This is perfect. It allows you to customise your window layout so quickly. I'm so used to using it, I've installed it on every computer I ever come into contact with. I feel super frustrated not having it. My only request is the ability to save and recall a window setup. Anyway, top class, always works. Would highly recommend.
