Very free to play friendly
Probably one of the best games to recommend anyone that wants a great free to play experience. The main draws things you miss out on playing for free will be cosmetics and new card releases - but they’ll still unlock for you eventually, just keep playing.
The game still revolves around your collection to build and maintain decks but you’ll have no problem keeping up as a F2P player because they’re constantly revamping the card acquisition to make it easier for F2P players!
Try it out, you won’t regret it!
Marvel fans unite!
If you are a Marvel fan of any level, Marvel Snap is just up your alley. Being able to collect your favorite heroes and their variants to use in-game is so awesome. I won’t deny it’ll be hard to progress quickly in card acquisition without spending real money, but if you are skilled enough you can still do pretty well with a semi-decent deck. Developer has messed up at times (they will admit this as well), but I always see them taking user feedback seriously and making changes each update to improve the game further. Those without patience complain constantly and leave, but those who are able to give the developer time to cook, I truly believe the potential for this game is great. For now 4 stars, awaiting for the day I can give an easy 5.
Problem with balancing
All the season pass cards have been ridiculously strong, zabu is definitely the strongest season pass card on release, and even with the nerf, it’s still used everywhere in the meta. Surfer was just annoying, and Modok changed the discard archetype, making it pretty good. Nimrod made destroy even more broken as it was, and hitmonkey was a nice addition to sera but a strong addition to negative Jane. Other than balancing, one of the best games I’ve played, I can’t seem to stop playing, the VFX and SFX are amazing, the community is super nice and funny. Overall great game would recommend, amazing artworks and references. (Sorry to the people reading this to get insight whether to play the game, then I go on about the meta and marvel snap specific terminology)
