Offline transcription is abysmal
Subscribed for the monthly offline transcription and the performance is absolutely abysmal in my
M1 iPad Pro. Took too long to transcribe a 1-hr recording and the accuracy is way off. The online transcription has slightly better accuracy but the price tier is untenable.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I apologise for any inconvenience caused by the performance of our offline transcription feature on your M1 iPad Pro. I understand that the experience fell short of your expectations.

To provide transparency to our users, I strive to offer ample information regarding the subscription options before making a purchase. For instance, new users receive 900 credits for free, equivalent to 1.5 hours of offline transcription. Additionally, the app offers a free option where users can earn credits by watching a short video ad, providing 15 minutes of offline transcription. This way, users can continue exploring the app without any pressure to subscribe.
As stated in the app, users should expect lower accuracy and reduced speed when using offline models, depending on the size of the selected model.
Regarding the pricing of online transcription, it is indeed higher due to the associated API costs. I have made efforts to keep the prices as affordable as possible, with an average rate of less than USD 1 per hour of online transcription. Currently, the API itself costs USD 0.36 per hour, and when combined with Apple's 30% cut on the proceeds from all in-app purchases, I hope you find the pricing reasonable.
