would be reliable if not for ads
i’ve used this app for over 2 years to get my way around, and I have had no problems with the navigation system and can usually trust it to get me somewhere with the fastest route. The only problem is the ADS. ADS ADS ADS ADS every time I open a route direction ADS ADS ADS. When I need to know if the stop my bus is arriving at is mine or not, I need my route to be quick and accessible, which a 10 second unskippable ad is NOT helping with. I can’t count on one hand how many times I have missed a stop due to me frantically searching for the X button to peek at my map on public transport. It’s frustrating that such a useful app is hindered by such a redundant, money-grabbing implementation. If there was a way to make the ads any less intrusive, this app would be perfect.
A Must-Have for Daily Commuting!
Moovit has truly transformed the way I get around. As a transportation app, it’s incredibly user-friendly and provides accurate, real-time information on bus routes and arrival times. Navigating the city has never been easier! It takes the stress out of planning my journey and gives me confidence that I’ll reach my destination on time.
This app has become an essential part of my daily routine—I honestly can’t imagine commuting without it. Highly recommended for anyone who relies on public transport!
Decent But Not The Most Ideal
I’ve been using Moovit for years; the best offering of the app is the fact that you can use it in other countries as well. The downside is the fact that their ads are super intrusive & the interface isn’t as intuitive as I’d like. I’ve found Simplygo to serve as a great replacement for local travel (in Singapore) as it does everything that Moovit does, but with zero ads and as an added bonus, because it was built to facilitate cashless payments on local trains and bus, I can also keep track of the payments for each ride. It even helps consolidate the expenditure on a per-day basis - great for budgeting! It provides offline train maps, and I’ve also found the bus arrival timings to be far more accurate.
