Fantastic Recorder
I bought a Blue Yeti and a Camera Connection Kit and this app works wonders in a stereo guitar rig like mine! I can quickly move my mic, see the visual interaction and get a balanced output from my two amps. No more plugging in mic, recording, plugging out mic, plug in earphones, listen, adjust and repeat (even typing that was exhausting).
Then you can quickly edit, change it to a different format for file compression (much more manageable!), and exporting to WhatsApp to share with my bands is a piece of cake.
Shure should market this better as the app is one of the best in the market; being free is just icing on the cake!
Can't get the usual sound
After the latest update, vocal recordings don't sound right through the MVi. I'm not the only one complaining. Normal settings, Flat, 15-18.5 db & mic gain +20

We're sorry to hear that you are having problems. We would suggest the following steps to ensure that the microphone is working properly: power-cycle the device, check to ensure that the MOTIV app is up to date, close any additional apps running in the background, disconnect then reconnect your MVi, and clean the lightning connector, as dirt will cause intermittent problems.
