MuteKey allows you to mute and unmute your microphone with a global hotkey shortcut.

Almost perfect... but still the one I use.
This is basically what I'm looking for to mute/unmute all my microphones known in the system, and accessed in the Mac menu bar similar to sound etc.
This would been perfect if the following are included (I hope Dave Cheng considers these):
1. An option to "Mute on Launch" to automatically mute all microphones when I launch the app (works well with launch with start up)
2. The microphone unmute icon in menu bar is white instead of shade of blue so that it would be consistent with the Mac UI design.
