OCBC Do NOT deserve business customers!!!

What the hell are you thinking OCBC? You should be literally ashamed and embarrassed of yourself to have launched an app this terrible. I am dumbfounded that you have released this app for your business customers to use. Even after 3 years of 1 star reviews from thousands of people you still have not managed to make the app be able to make a transfer of funds without crashing. Considering that is pretty much the only function of your app - it would be advisable to make this only function work properly and not crash, get stuck on a loading screen or just generally lag every time a basic function is used. What are you thinking?! Who ever is heading your digital transformation - I suggest you are in the wrong job. Urgently replace this team and improve your digital capabilities as you have already lost us as a business account and im sure many more.

App Crashes but Patience might be the key

This app is terrible. Period. As paying business account holders users should not be expected to handle crashes or failures in payments - this is unprofessional and not secure at all for our transactions (consider if we accidentally paid twice because of the lag, who will take responsibility then?). However I have realized that most of the times while the app lags and the payment or funds transfer takes a while to load, if you just leave the phone on its own for a while the transaction eventually goes through. I cant say the same for other functions but for my payment function to CPF or other clients i realize patience might be the key. But again, no, this app should not be running like this. OCBC please get your IT team to really look into this - there already so many complaints and nothing seems to be rectified.

One of the worst banking app

We are supposed to be a “smart” nation but there has never been a more dumb app when it comes to doing internet banking. We have accounts with all 3 big Singapore banks. DBS IDEAL is hands down the best app. OCBC used to have a decently functional app even though the desktop and app version had different templates. So all my saved templates on the desktop version were not available on the app. Never mind, we lived with it. But since COVID 19 outbreak which probably resulted in more users using the app, this app has truly gone down the drain. It keeps having the spinning wheel come up and numerous times it will hang after I have completed all the steps. So I never know if the transaction has been completed.

Given how OCBC has closed branches over the past few years I won’t be surprised if one day it gets bought out by UOB leaving us with just two big banks.
