A lot better from last time ever since the new bikes with gear shift and the new locking system but still need to improve on the lock firstly make sure the lock is not able to unlock through pin as the other day I was curious and knew that if I pushed the right numbers I would be able to unlock it and luck was with me and I pressed in 1134 it worked so pls work on that other than that could you pls go around SIN frequently to remove the broken bikes as there are millions out there broken like seats destroyed locks damaged plates spray painted or not visible brakes not working and a lot more
Dysfunctional Customer Service Exposes Ofo’s Ugly Face
I would have written it off as an one-off incident, but the fact that it happened twice made me delete the app and trust in that company forever. In both incidents, I had an ongoing pass, locked the bicycles but forgot to double check on the app. Turned out the lock is spoilt and didn’t registered the locking part, i was charged for overusage. The first time i wrote in to their customer service, didn’t even get an acknowledgement. However i decided to pay the charges and brushed it off. This happened again, and somehow the charge was more this time, I appealed through the app and through email and did not even get an acknowledgement, not to mention reply. Decided to delete the app and forgo their services once and for all. It’s not so much the fines that I’m upset about, it more towards their attitude towards customer’s feedback. I remembered when similar incident happened on Mobike, I got a response within days to clarify the incident, gathered more info and eventually waived off the erroneous charges. I believe that’s what customer expects and Ofo fails spectacularly when it matters the most.
Charged me even when I couldn’t unlock the bike
I didn’t subscribe to any pass so ofo was charging me 50 cents for unlocking and 50 cents for 15 mins of traveling, which was fine by me bcos I was going to make a very short trip home. I tried to unlock a bike but couldn’t because the dial was spoilt. I reported the problem to ofo, went through the feedback page and all, then returned to the main page to find that the clock has started counting my time. I ended the trip right away, the clock stopped at 1min something, and they CHARGED ME $1 EVEN WHEN I HAVEN’T MOVED THE BIKE ONE INCH NOR EVEN UNLOCKED IT TO START WITH. I went back to check My trip, for some reason that trip was reported such that I’d traveled for some 100m. This is utterly rubbish. $1 is nothing much, but I was charged for nothing which irked me because my other alternative was to take the bus, which would take me more time. Now, with ofo, I would still have to travel by bus, with $1 less in my pocket. Do they think I’ll keep using them? Probably not.
