Description
PocketGuitar turns your iPhone or iPod touch into a virtual guitar. You can press and strum strings, just like a real guitar.
Along with several guitar sounds, you can also play Electric Bass and Ukulele. You can also create various sounds by using effects such as Distortion, Chorus, Delay and Wah.

why 3 stars?
I was expecting it a great app when i bought it off, as i heard that it was quite a popular app in the apple strore.
BUT i realise the functionality and usability is not that great, well some would say "wow there is distortion"
but moving down to other frets are a hassle as i only see 1-4 frets on the screen scrolling to other frets takes too much time.
Was not expecting the price!
I've been waiting for this to hit the App Store, and was prepared to pay more for it. Pianist and Band from Moo Cow cost 6 and 10 bucks respectively. Imagine my surprise at this being 99c! Really well-made instrument with great sound effects and controls. It's just missing the ability to scroll to more frets, although that is being promised for the next version.
I can't even play guitar, but this is a lot of fun, and I'll probably give learning a few songs on this a try. At 99c, there's nothing to lose.
Superb App, Highly Recommended for Guitarists
this is SUCH a superb app i recommend it highly. excellent implementation and great sounds and effects, you'll have tons of fun playing and experimenting with it. i hardly write reviews coz i thought they r lame (this is my first one for appstore) but i just had to do it for this app. Definitely worth the 1 buck!
