Got enticed by their recent promotion campaigns, download the app to order a portion enough for 6pax. After entering our credit card details, the app said that there was a payment error. We then checked the order details section and there was no confirmed orders stated, so we placed the exact same order again.
After payment for the 2nd order, we checked the order details section. To our horror, both orders went through (Two identical orders sent to the same address). 🙀🙀 We took action immediately and called the IMM outlet (the outlet fulfilling our order), wanting to inform them of this issue and asked them to cancel one of the order because it’s going to be too much food 🐓🐓🐓. We desperately called for 30mins, and even called other outlets to get the branch manager contact... even tried calling and texting the branch manager, but none replied..
After 30 mins finally one of the branch staff picked up the call, and after explaining the situation, the staff just said ‘just now too busy could not pick up the call, and both orders delivered already’ and offered no solution nor empathise with the situation. Till today the branch manager did not reply us too.
Good promo enticed me to put in an order on the app. However, it kept flashing a message that the outlet closest to me was temporarily not doing delivery. This message appeared for the 3 days I attempted to put in the order. I knew this couldn’t be accurate as I had ordered from the app before and had been matched to a different outlet previously. In the end, ordered from the webpage. Really poor experience when you are pushing customers towards using your app.
App does not link up to kitchen after order
It’s rather easy and convenient for the app but after making order on the app, they actually requires you to go to the counter to inform them before kitchen starts preparing your order.
It only occurred to me to check with them after 30mins of waiting. Shouldn’t the app automatically send the order to the kitchen rather than us going to the counter still?
