Excellent ipad mag

For all fans of Popular Science, this iPad app is an even better way to read this magazine. There are more photos, the occassional video, and you can see the photos larger and in greater clarity.

Pretty easy to use though the user interface takes some getting used to.

But once you started on the iPad version, there is no compelling reason to get the printed version! In fact, you get a better experience and save money at the same time!

Issue problem

This is one of the best magazine out there, the content is interesting, the way the magazine is brought out is beautiful. However it comes with a few critical problems.
1. Issue just disappear and you have to download them all over again. Don't be surprised when you are on a trip overseas and realized that all your magazines are gone and you need to download everything yet there is not Internet excess.
2. The animation in the magazine turns off your music even it is just a animation with no sound file
3. The page lags sometimes

This might seem like a small problem but when it gets so frequent like once every month, you will feel that it is a hassle instead of making this easy for you compared to the hard copy.
