PrepositionBuilder™ is designed to help elementary aged children learn the correct use of prepositions and learn how prepositions can change the meaning of a sentence.
During play, the student is presented an image and must drag a preposition to complete a sentence about the image. If the student chooses the wrong answer, the image and sentence change to show the student the proper use of the preposition they chose and how it changes the image. Once a student completes a module, they unlock a short animation that is part of a larger story. They must complete all the modules to see the entire story.

A worthwhile investment
I was surprised that my 5 YO son (with Down syndrome) could correctly answer a few of the simple questions. There is a substantial amount of content for me to work with my son which may explain the higher price. Being a visual learner, my son prefers to look at the chosen preposition in the sentence then read the complete sentence before confirming the choice of preposition. This gives him some time to check his answer against the image. For non-readers, it would be great if they can choose to have the whole sentence read to them at this juncture.
Would be great too if the prepositions were placed just under the sentence instead of having the student drag it from the bottom of the screen across the image. The button for next sentence could also be placed further away from the panel of buttons at the bottom. Quite often, my son hit the Archives button and this disrupts the 'play'. Overall, I think this app is worthwhile investment.
