Procreate Dreams 4+

been playing around with the features in the app and its amazing!! though i faced an issue when i was moving my files around in the gallery. For some reasons i cant move my files like i could in procreate, and it made moving files out of folders a lot more difficult since you cant really move them. there is also no option to move files when you long hold on the dream file. It seems like the files would permanently stay in my gallery/folders and there is no way i am able to move them out(moving them onto another folder). i tried finding help online and it seems that only i am facing this issue.. please fix it as soon as possible TT i see a lot of potential in this software and i can’t wait for more new features to come!

Hi peiformyart - Movies in your Theatre are arranged in alphabetical order. To change the position of a particular movie, you can change its name or use numbers to move their position. To add files into your theatre, head into Files app and move any documents you would like to add into the Theatre folder of Procreate Dreams.

Further improvements for Theatre organisation are planned for early updates of Procreate Dreams. 😊

I’ve been having quite a bit of fun on the app, the animations, no matter how many frames per second i put it on runs quite smoothly.

I love the overall system and feel of PD but i have quite a few gripes about it as well. I have SO MUCH trouble trying keep drawings consistent and heavily rely the lasso tool to resize and/or move drawings to the right position. i’m sure quite a number of people can agree with me. And there’s a problem with copy pasting on frames in the flip book mode, i’m not able to copy paste if there’s already a drawing on there or a scribble which i think is honestly just troublesome. General project and app settings feel a little too scattered around for me and wish that the layout was better and easier to find and set my preferences.

Final thoughts is that i hope that the app can be a little more easier to navigate and use. I know that this is the first version and these are a few problems i spotted. i hope i can be some sort of help 🙏

Procreate Dreams is such a great app with outstanding features. You can make very high quality and lifelike animations. However, as of the time I write this, there are two features which I feel like need to be added. The quickshape tool and the selection tool. Perhaps in future updates these two features might be added but right now, it’s just tough not being able to make perfect circles. But overall, an amazing and brilliant app!
