PURE: Anonymous Dating App 17+

I’ve started using Pure about 3 months ago, when I was feeling really low and bored. I was surprised, because when I compared it to other apps I’ve used in the past I did not see many fake profiles. And all guys I’ve spoken to were respectful, friendly and nice. In real life things don’t go as smoothly, haha. It works that way: You have to create an ad writing what you’re looking for, upload your nicest photos with your ad and you’ll have people respond to your ad, so you’ll only really talk to people who are interested in the same thing. It’s nice to finally get the attention you deserve. You can talk for as long as you like, get to know each other, flirt - and if you’re ready you can send a spicy picture (theres’a a feature so your photo will be erased as soon as it was seen, so you don’t have to worry about anything). This app helped me to feel sexy and desirable again! I’ve chatted to a bunch of guys and went of a few dated as soon as everything reopened. We had a lot of fun. I’ll probably meet another cute guy this week. Anyways, girls, it’s worth checking this app. Pure might be something you are looking for.

Would be a great app... if it works! I’m on iOS 14.4.2 and the interface doesn’t respond half the time. Tapping on heart, gift or pictures, nothing works. And before you get cheeky with a response to my review please fix the damned app thanks.

Hate to sound ungrateful and angry here but unresponsive UI brings out the worst in people. Other stuff are fine.

The dating network is decent, and UI is good, but please be prepared to be double or even triple charged when you buy in-app tokens. It’s happened to me at least 4 times. A token listed at $6 could end up costing you $12 to $18. A token of $31 recently ended up costing me $62. That really was the last straw for me.

And the most vexing thing is, when you raise a request for refund, the customer service team will ask you to send the pdf invoice from Apple, then dispute the invoice by requesting you to check with Apple support on the exact dates of each item on the invoice. But I knew for sure at each instance it’s double charged because my credit card provider provides instant notification at point of purchase. Buyers beware.
