Reverse: 1999 is a 20th Century Time-Travel Strategic RPG developed by Bluepoch.
On the last day of 1999, the "Storm" fell upon the world. You witnessed an era reversed beneath the rising raindrops. Defying all reasons, what unfolds in front of you is the world of an era long past.
As the Timekeeper, observer of eras, you are free to travel through these eras after each "Storm." With the aid of Sonetto, a powerful Arcanist and ally from the Foundation, your mission is to travel through eras to where the "Storm" is most active, find other Arcanists who can sense the coming "Storm," and save them from being "sifted out" of the timeline.

The story
The gameplay is much like many others of the same genre. What I really fell in love with for R:1999 is the story. It’s 4 chapters are amazing to go through. The end feels completing in its own sense, the slight hint of mystery in The main characters past and future is something I came to like aswell. I’m not sure if it’s the idea they want to give but I certainly did take this away. “Your past may define and shape your future, but do not let it become your future.” Part of me is hoping for a continuation. But I know what I really want, is for this to be The End. The story has been told and for me I think if the quote I made to describe this is how I’m meant to understand the story. I hope it’s done.
Thank you for making such a great story into a game and for all the cinematics that help tell it. I loved the story and the way you all made it told. It’s not the most flashy game, but I’ll be damned if it isn’t the best story I’ve watched, read, and enjoyed this year.
Favourite game!
The story is extremely well-written and engaging, this is the first time I spent time actually reading through the story when I’d usually skip them in gacha games.
I love the characters design and the vintage-inspired UI interface is sooo unique. Everything in this game has been pleasant surprise so far, I could really tell the team put in a lot of effort and love 🥹
The game feels like any other gacha game.
The game kinda reminds me of Honkai Impact but the playstyle is different. I’m not gonna continue playing since my Im have 0 interests in any of the characters or storyline currently right now. It just feels like another Gacha game, and I’m busy speed running the quest on the games I play since there is new updates. I don’t have much to say since I left after doing a 10pull summoning. To be fair, I always skip the story and I often have a hard time liking a character to the point I want to play the game. So I guess the game is okay? I’m hoping for other people opinions on the game. :D
