Sdorica: Tactical RPG 9+

The visuals, sound and plot of the game are all top notch, absolutely stunning! Reminds me of playing Bravely Default on the 3DS. Albeit not having as complicated of a battling system, the battling system of this game feels fresh (although luck does plays as quite a considerable factor) and one of the best for a mobile game of its class.

Games under this category usually have energy capped, which forces the player to either wait for energy to be refilled or pay to play. However, this game has no limit on how much u can play, and in fact grinding options are somewhat limited (it’s not rewarding to replay a stage), which really boosted my level of engagement with the game. If u have hours to spare, u will find yourself playing on for hours without the game prompting u to constantly refill your energy like other games.

Side quests feel purposeful and has a true story which isn’t purely for grinding sake.

Overall, highly recommended! Especially for those u wants a A+ RPG experience, look no further!

Of the many gacha rpg games I've played on mobile, Sdorica takes the cake.

First up, the game is incredibly free to play in a sense that even the characters they give you at the start can carry you through most of the content available. Every character that you obtain has their own different speciality, and all of them are actually useful in one way or another. Limited characters are usually very niche and mostly affect the competitive side of the gameplay.

Secondly, the art, music and storytelling is absolutely captivating. This is the first mobile game that I've bothered to actually pay attention to the story of. The story is beautifully interwoven into the gameplay, making it a joy to experience.

Lastly, this game doesn't have an energy system, or really any mechanic that forces you to pay real money in order to keep playing. In a mountain of subtly pay to play mobile games, this factor is an absolute gem.

If you're looking for a casual game to play for around 10-20min every day, Sdorica won't let you down.

What happened to the blocks that were so much easier to see, as well as more visually appealing? They have all turned into small coloured orbs that I can’t even see. Is it possible to toggle it on or off?

The gacha part of this game is just too frustrating. I mean, you would need specific heroes to clear certain missions, but they are so rare that even cashing wouldn’t guarantee anything!

But seriously, I’ve enjoyed the game so far, but it just hurts my eyes now...
