Why pay for future version?
I heard that this developer was charging users of shiftscreen 3 (even beta testers) to move to version 4. What a money grab. Even in version 4, there is a lack of updates on progress on the development roadmap. This feels like a grab-and-go move.
Currently the app is very limited in functionality, does not support google chrome etc
Happy to change my ratings when the situation improves
Doesn’t even support Microsoft apps
You can only use the list of apps within Shiftscreen which are very limited; once I switch to Desktop 2, Desktop 1 disappeared and the video stop playing. Sometimes Netflix becomes a black box and plays on the other screen instead. The apps you want to use you can only find them in browser mode and its a brand new browser, not Safari - so your autolog in passwords and favourite bookmarks are not there. I regret paying $10.98 for it.
Can’t play YouTube video
Tried playing YouTube video from the browser but couldn’t get it to work.
