Simple but powerful Japanese-English, English-Japanese dictionary app.
The app's features include:
● Over 170.000 dictionary entries with readings and english meaning
● Over 6.500 kanji characters with stroke order
● Over 730.000 Japanese names, place names and institution names
● Over 147.000 example sentences with translation
● Instantaneous search results
● Character input by kanji and kana handwriting recognition. Recognition algorithm can handle wrong stroke order and small mistakes.
● When multiple similar characters are found, you don't need to redo drawing after each character - just long press to see a preview
● Search by kanji radicals (for example 日 and 月 will find 明)
● Wildcard search - "*" can replace any number of characters and "?" can replace any single character. Works both with English and Japanese words.
● Search by kanji, kana and romaji - "じしょ", "じsho" and "jisho" will give the same search results
● Kanji lists by JLPT level and school grade (1 - 6)
● Multiple word lists divided by subject, grammatical function, JLPT level and more

The ONLY dictionary you need
This is really the best Jisho App ever. It's perfect, and you can see why it has a perfect five star rating. It's so good that I had to write this review (I never write reviews).
It has a really clean interface to begin with. It has Radical, keyboard, and handwrite input for kanji. It shows compound words that contain the kanji you are looking at, as well as the radical, parts, stroke order, and even the VERB INFLECTIONS. Yes, it is super useful. Literally everything you ever need in a Japanese jisho can be found here. I would definitely, highly recommend this app to everyone whether you're Japanese, learning Japanese, or travelling in Japan. Thank you developers for such an amazing app that's also free!!
A must have
This app is perfect, its not only has English search but also Kanji search by drawing strokes which makes it so much easier to look for what you need. Each word has audio pronounce, and examples in sentences, and those sentences also have their own audios. There are other functions that help you learn better too. In short, I can't find any complains about this app at all.
Incredibly Great
I don’t usually write reviews (ever) but this app is 100% the only dictionary you need for Japanese. It has so many functions and even provides example sentences and allows you to write your own notes in the page. Has built in keyboards so you don’t even have to add it to your phone too. Works well across almost any device I’ve had so far.
