Crazy Incredible
That fact that this exists and runs smoothly on my iPhone XS max feels crazy to me. After getting used to the adjusted graphics for a smaller screen it feels the same as playing civ vi on the computer but on the go (or at work heh.)
Obviously the screen is smaller and it does drain the battery (I can only play for just over an hour on a full charge.) Also I do wish my achievements and hall of fame would sync with my computer version as they both are signed into the same 2k account.
Overall if you like the game on the com and you travel a lot, i’d say this game is worth it and worth getting used to on a smaller screen. 🙃
I love it!
I love SMC since long ago! Especially enjoyed the previous and Beyond Earth (quite a cool concept of alien cohabit/kill style).
This version have major differences with the older version (for those that know). I played this on Steam before deciding to purchase on iOS as I thoroughly enjoyed this game and would like to have it on mobile - a dream come true!
I left a star out because it's about the same price as the one on computer even though it's not as "smooth" as it should be (I'm not complaining, just comparing).
Overall this is a nice game for SMC fans especially if you want to bring the game out. A true blue good mobile game with full factors of a computer game unlike most mobile games which are totally dedicated to mobile platforms.
Ps. I know it will most probably (95%) not happen. But I hope Dev can reduce the prices on the iOS store if we have bought the game in steam as although I own both, I cannot bear to part with so much money to get both Gathering Storms/Rise & Fall on both platforms. I have however bought some civilisation packs to support them on this platform 👍🏻 Thanks to the Dev team for making a full game on mobile.
Best port ever
Basically a full Civ6 experience from Pc. Interfaces are smartly designed to accompany the small screen. It only take a while to get used to it. The game is resource intensive, but there are fixes online to help with that (you can google it). Significantly less buggy than the initial release. Solid buy for a quality game on your phone.
P.s: check your device hardware to make sure it can run first.
