Renamed the Sonos S1 Controller, this app supports systems that include the oldest Sonos products. Systems supported by this app will continue to receive bug fixes and security patches but will not receive new software features found in the new Sonos S2 app and will not be compatible with Sonos products released after May 2020. Sonos is the only way to go !
Sonos is the only Wi-Fi speaker system worth having. It’s got virtually everything one can ask for in a home hifi system. Great sound quality, access to a limitless library of free music, extreme flexibility, stability, easy set-up, looks and a great app that needs no further improvement but could in fact be simplified (future updates ?) Price is the only drawback but hey good things don’t come cheap. And.... the folks at Sonos just need to react quicker to user suggestions.
More than an app and a playbar.
Latest update: I added the Sonos Sub to the setup and it was wonderful.
Indeed brings life and music back into our living room again as everyone in the family can't wait for their turn to play music in the living room through the Sonos Playbar!
Great sound and feature but lacks Alexa
Sonos wifi speaker provides loads more convenience than a typical bluetooth speaker. Sounds great too! Just disappointed that the Alexa voice assistant system as advertised never came to pass and Sonos has been really slow to bring the update to customers in Singapore. We pay the same or even slightly more but never get the features as advertised. Doesn’t sound too right for me.
