First experience with Speedoc and encountered an in-app video connectivity issues. Messaged the attending physician and promotly followed up promptly with a whatsapp video call for the const. The video consult process was really efficient followed by a call for billing confirmation. Great experience for patients like me with chronic arthritis with mobility issues during flare-ups. No more hobbling while writhing in pain to see a GP and waiting endlessly for consultation, medication and allowing healthcare for the patients who need it more.

The worst experience ever. Requested for a in call doctor at 7am and the team mentioned that the whole team is engaged and asked me to do a video consult instead. They requested me to cancel my incall doc request from my end and re-request another video consult as they say they can’t do any cancellation or booking on my behalf. Ends up I’m unable to cancel nor book from my side and then miraculously the team is able to do that for me. The video consult was done and completed around 830am and guess when did I receive my items? 652pm. At 10am a admin lady called me and mentioned that the simple thermometer that I requested is out of stock, and they only have Braun (market price is 50bucks and they are charging 135bucks), so naturally I told her to skip that. I then clarified with her which type of gargle she’s sending me and she mentioned she will check with the doc and get back but it never happened. In between I called and check when is my medication coming and if they managed to answer your call after 100times, they all mentioned they will check and get back. And nothing happens. The WhatsApp takes your name and ic and never replied again. At 4pm I texted the doc on the situation and mentioned that I haven’t received anything and I was clarifying with him on the gargle that he has prescribed to me. I mentioned again that the thermometer can skip. Yet at 430pm I received the invoice stating that I’m charged for the 135 thermometer. I asked the delivery at 652pm on the thermometer and he mentioned he’s not aware of any changes and he just delivers. Totally not worth your time and. Complete failure.

Unreliable, first and last time I’ll use this

I fell sick on 18July and saw one of Speedoc’s doctors at 830am. Because I was displaying symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection, I was advised to do a COVID-19 Swab test yesterday the doctor. The doctor told me she would write a memo letter as my referral to any clinic. The doctor wrote a one liner email, which I didn’t think much of it then as I had never done a swab test before.When I visited the clinic a few hours later at 1130am , I was told that the email did not count as a referral letter and that I needed a formal one from the doctor. I tried to call the doctor but there was no response. I called Speedoc’s customer service, only to be directed to the Malaysian team and to be told that the SG team could only get back to me at the end of the day. I did not get any follow-up calls from Speedoc for the next 5 days and only received a call from Speedoc today asking if I had done my swab test. When I told them about my situation, nothing was done to ask what had happened. They asked me to rate their service out of 10 and when I gave them my honest score of 2, the customer service officer ended the call.

It’s been more than 6mths since my first consult via Speedoc and since I could not amend my first rating (which wasn’t pleasant), I thought I’d do a new one. App experience have definitely improved tremendously. Consultation was a swift and there was immediate follow up on confirmation of address for meds delivery. MC came in almost immediately as well. Good job to the team for taking our feedback constructively and will definitely recommend Speedoc to others
