Too tricky to operate.

Needs to be easier to operate. Almost through cell out of gym window.

Good!

A very good effort overall. Takes a bit to get used to but not too much effort. The barbell for capturing weighs is pretty neat. A few suggestions:

(1) Please add a button to start the workout from Training > Routines.

(2) During a workout, the timer resets if ones goes back or forward. Would be good to keep it running.

(3) The set number font is very small. Would be good to make it bigger and prominent.

(4) The notification for ‘Its your set’ once the time is up should be dismiss-able.

(5) It seems for user added exercises, the date field under ‘My Personal Records’ shows today’s date. Might be a issue for other exercises too.

(6) Editing box on the weight field in a completed workout does not allow decimal.

And that’s it! Keep up the good work folks :)

Good app for a first iteration

The app is good. For a first revision, it took care of the training basics pretty well.

To take it forward, it can benefit from a warm-up calculator based on a customisable % (weight) of the working set and choice of numbers of sets/ reps (in line with BLS for example).

Being able to see what the next set is going to be while in the rest screen would also improve it significantly.

Also, integrating it with the apple health kit (if you have a heart rate monitor) can help giving users a rough number of calories burned during a workout session. This is particularly useful for beginners who tend to under eat when they start training.

Good job so far. Looking forward to the next update. :)
