In SteamWorld Heist you command a steam-driven pirate crew in a series of epic tactical shootouts. It's turn-based strategy with an action twist: You manually aim the guns of your robots, allowing for insane skill shots and bullet-bouncing action!
As the captain you will board, loot and shoot your way through enemy spaceships. Overcome the challenges of the vast frontier by upgrading your recruits with unique abilities, weapons - and even stylish hats!

A premium game at a good price, no regrets!
The first thing you should know is, every dime you pay for this game will be absolutely worth it. Do not be put off simply because it is pricier than most games; you are paying for quality here. It is ported flawlessly from Nintendo 3DS to a touch-based iOS, and it works well.
In the age of "freemium" games that seek to fleece unsuspecting gamers of unending dollars, it is a breath of fresh air that Steam World Heist is upfront about a reasonable fixed price, and offers undeniable value for it. You are likely to spend 20 hours or so in a single playthrough, more if you repeat missions or do a NG+. It is certainly a full game, full of fun.
In all likeness, it resembles turn-based RPGs like Fallout/Wasteland/Divinity OS/X-com. You spend turns to move your squad and fire, and you also get upgraded loot as you go along. Coupled with an endearing cast, a decent space chase and a "rusty" charm, everyone should try this game.
I would not hesitate to rate Steam World Heist 10/10, at a time when there is a dearth of good games on the AppStore. I await the porting of the Outsiders DLC with abated breath.
Great game!
If you like xcom, you will like this as well, great turn based strategy game. However, not as rich as xcom, and still need to see how long the campaign is. Hope the length worth the money. After all, the game is not cheap 😅😅
Love it but..
Love the game but it’s a little too small for my iPhone X and it’s not full screen. Hope that there will be an update to be able to scale it to full screen. The text and graphic is a little too small and It will be wonderful to be appreciate the graphics.
