Awesome Game
Even though there are those few times where the game freezes, Super Starfish is honestly the most beautiful game I have ever played. I love the sound effects, the interactive background, and the concept of having a collection of free moving fishes. Overall this game is worth installing. (I’m desperate for an rare fish though XD)
This game is rude when it comes to ads...
Wrote a previous review, realized the game had updated, hence no longer relevant, but unable to find it to edit anymore... hmm..
Anyway, the biggest bugbear of the game - annoying ads - are still around... in the game, it will prompt you if you want to watch an ad. Tapping yes will lead you to a unskipable ad, that rewards you after. Tapping no closes it. But then forcibly shove one down your throat after the very next game...
This is my opinion is extremely, incredibly rude... If i can rate lower than zero, i would. Which part of the word “no” does the developers not understand?
One workaround is to cut the internet access to the game; it will remove the ads.
Gameplay wise, there are absolutely no reason to collect the blue stars except to complete quests, and boast to other people your high score. I will suggest making something useful out of this... maybe as a currency that changes how the game appears? Like colour etc...
The frequent special event is a nice addition... although i think it is not necessary to have yet another currency. Just the blue stars will do.
I enjoyed collecting the various photos of the zones, but once discovered, thats pretty much it. Perhaps more zones can be added?
Overall, this game is a good time killer spoilt by the ads. Short games suitable for car journeys and spending time. However NOT recommended for players who gets annoyed by ads easily.
Really great
The graphics of this game are really beautiful and the changing zones keeps me interested unlike other games where it gets boring passing through the same obstacles all the time. I really like the fishes I can obtain due to the different colours and effects on the game as well as the related “ancestor” which is informative and very interesting. However, one improvement I really wish to see is the stars collected being translated to shells or moonstones as now they only serve to reach a high score. Perhaps after a certain amount of stars or zones you get a few shells? Otherwise this is a beautiful and fun game.
