Superbrothers: S&S EP Micro 12+

How can I begin to describe it? I can't. Somehow the likeable quirky nature of the game reminds me of Haruki Murakami's "Kafka On The Shore" even through the genre, story and setting is very different. It's definitely worth the cost of download though I wish the game can go on a bit longer. Perhaps the makers might consider making a part 2. I love the music, so much so that I got the soundtrack.

As for the 8 bit graphic, it's retro-ish charming. But my only gripe is that on the iPhone 4, it's a bit difficult to make out small details which might cause the player to miss important stuff. Or if your eye sight ain't that great, you might have to look pretty hard for details that you are supposed to look out for.

The makers might also want to work a bit harder on the replayable aspect of it.

Worth the download.

Leaves you with a lingering mysterious feel after each session. Makes you want to continue more and more into the story. Hope there will be a second game like this. Only play with earphones or headphones, when you are calm and in a queue environment. Not in public on a train or while multitasking. It ruins the experience. Headphones are the best and give the most immersive feel. Those of you contemplating whether to try this, go ahead. It's amazing.

Need I say more? This is the most well spend dollar I had thus far and regardless, the art style, story and gameplay is all unique and addictive nevertheless.
