1. Sygic map is more detailed compared to other maps.
2. It includes road speed cameras.
3. It gives you the option to view the map closer or further with the + and - icon. I use it to adjust the speed distance while driving. It helps to gauge the correct turn at a junction so as to know exactly which junction to turn into.
4. The paid version will allow the app to use your phone as a video recorder in case of a road accident.
Regret this purchase, not updated maps
Regret purchasing the full version with world maps. First use in Singapore was fine but when my first time use in Malaysia is chaos, map is not updated and incorrect at times, direct me into a dead end and it still insists that I drive through, showing the directions and route into houses and grassland. Once also directs me into an one way traffic into oncoming cars, so dangerous! The interfacing a bit lagging, showing the car location and direction later only after I past the turn or roads. Many locations and address not updated and cannot find in the app, need the help of google map to get co-ordinates and enter into app. So inconvenient, I might as well use google map then. The only good thing abt the app is it will show at times the drivable lanes on certain major roads, but not most instances where it only highlights in one straight blue lane. It was a bad experience using this paid $28+ app.

Quite disappointing!
I have to say Sygic Offline Map is still great on mobile. However with the Apple Car play introduced~ I have switched to APPLE MAP on IOS Because that was the only GPS compatible at that time to connect to the car.
After a really long wait, Sygic is finally approved for use on Apple CarPlay.
Here is my verdict on the Apple CarPlay
Experience using Sygic:
1) the FREE version is only on 2D!
Well I am totally ok if it is AT
LEAST Comparable to GOOGLE MAP!
BUT NO!! I was shocked that it looked like
there is no effort at all to do
up the 2D navigation.
It is NO WAY CLOSE to the experience
that FREE GPS program is giving!
2) to Upgrade to the 3D version like the one
u have on the mobile version. One is
expected to purchase an in app
interface that cost more than
twice the price of map which is
ridiculous!!
Final Verdict:
For what Google Map is providing~
- Live traffic update
- up to date maps
- professionally done up 2D maps
- FREE!
It make no sense to spend further to purchase an in app purchase to experience something that should already been given for a PAID GPS PROGRAM.

Unfortunately, at the moment we cannot provide the complete lineup of features through CarPlay with existing premium packages, without a further paid add-on, due to the fact that the use of premium features via a car connectivity channel (like Car Play) is subject to additional licensing and substantially higher costs to our map data provider. Those factors are reflected in the price, we understand that it may seem too high, though it does cover for the most part those licensing fees.
