I’ve played my fair share of hosted games(more than ten, at least), but this game has got to be the best one yet.
The thought and zeal put into this is shocking, and it’s shown not only through the storytelling but also through the lifelike interactions of major AND minor characters. From start to finish, the game is polished and extremely well done. It’s great how even the minor characters play their part and become a part of the player’s life, even if only a small part. They get riled up, they fight, they have nice chats with the Marshall(player) and it’s just one hell of a time.
Not only the character development, but the storytelling, too! It feels as though I had been pulled back into that period of time, and the effort put into making sure the cultures and information were as accurate as possible is proof of it.
The epilogue is also a really sweet ending; there’s so many tidbits and information about things other than the almighty player. To even have an epilogue of that caliber was a surprise in itself.
Thank you to all the people AllenGies credited, as well as AllenGies himself. Tin Star is a gem.
