Long-time player
Tiny Tower is my childhood game. It's one of the few, rare ones that are still up & running, & not discontinued. I was so happy to reinstall the game & find that everything was still running as my memories offered it
The game has been a great source of happiness. It's also a great way to kill time! I find the best time to play it is at night as I can then really sink into the game. It's a nice way to unwind Lol.
I love how the bitizens each have their own personalities. Some are chatty, some are sassy, some just mind their own business from Day 1 of moving in. I modeled some of them after some of my beloved characters in other games as well, & whether by psychology or by pure luck (or ✨manifestation 🕯️) the personalities actually ended up being the same!! Just something I'm really happy about 😂
I also love that the sky changes colours according to the actual time! The night-time sky with the stars is my favourite.
It's mindless in the best way. I'm really happy that the game is still here! So much gratitude to the developers for making the decision to keep this game updated with the iOS updates
Surprisingly Good
A good game, with addictive gameplay.
The game isn’t aggressively pay-to-win too, sure they offer coins and cash for IRL money and special skins, but the money can easily be earned without paying and the skins are completely optional.
I also appreciate there being no forced ads. When they do have an ad, it’s normally an optional thing you can opt out of for a prize. (Cash, money, etc.)
It’s also backed up by amazing music. I swear, the music composer deserves a raise. (My favourite song being song 3, one of the songs you can hear when in the main tower)
The costumes you can unlock are also a gem, with some basic skins but some references that I find so cheeky, like Bitman, the vaguely named “Plumber” which is just Mario and the engineer skin which is LITERALLY Team Fortress’ engineer. No differences whatsoever.
All in all, a good game aside from some annoying stuff.
