Good game but…

Certain things need refining. One such example is the cooking system. While it’s important to have regional specialties for a more immersive game. Because so many ingredients don’t carry over from region to regions it’s quite hard to make food. Which is really annoying cuz food is needed to restore HP. Eep in a boss fight. So if more ingredients than just dandelions, foul could carry over into region to region that would be really helpful! Another thing example is the ruins system. Since players can’t quick travel to ruins it becomes really tedious to loot them since we have to travel on foot. So if quick travel system that would be really appreciated! All that said tho, this game is a hidden gem, and is definitely more than just a Genshin rip-off. The premise and storyline is engaging and I really do highly recommend this game for ppl who love story-based games,a similar combat gameplay to Genshin as well as a fun cyberpunk/futuristic setting. But that’s all for now for me at least can’t wait too see more from this game!

Bugs, bugs and more bugs on iOS

Do you developers ever test your own game out by yourselves? Check for bugs, check if the interface is user-friendly and if it’s easy to navigate, check if the combat works well without fps drops?

I tried to enter the furnace core minimap in Mirroria and the game keeps saying “Failed to change scenario, server not ready.” Not the first time it’s done that if I try to teleport. Been playing this game since launch and there are so many bugs that you refuse to fix. I tried to open the customer support in-game and the entire game crashed.

The honeymoon period is over and the game is slowly giving out less dark crystals as time goes on. The shop packs don’t give out much red nucleus for the price stated. The battlepass is a joke for $30. Other gacha games at least give lower quality skins to f2ps, this one has skin gachapons. There is no “50-50 chance/ soft pity” system in this game, it’s either 120 red nucleus on every single banner or you don’t get the character at all. So I basically have to save for 3-4 months to get one character, let alone think about matrices? Game of the year nomination? You guys definitely do not deserve it.

It has potential

What I like most about the game is that we can use our own highly customised character, which is something that hasn’t been in an open world mmo for a long time. Of course the game has many flaws right now, it crashes a lot, cutscenes are pretty bad, hackers etc… but all in all, I’m having a lot of fun! I’m completely f2p and haven’t felt the urge to spend money at all. The combat and co-op aspect of TOF is much more interesting to me compared to genshin, which is understandable since genshin is mostly singleplayer anyway. Being able to summon your entire crew of 20+ players to fight a boss together is a thrill of old mmo’s that I missed for a long time, and seeing it in this anime-style open world is amazing.

Honestly, I recommend giving this game a go. It may not be for everyone but it’s worth the experience.
