Trading platform via mobile phone
I fully agree . UoB trading platform via Mobil device is a disgrace ! I saw the philipcaptial trading platform... it makes me want to switch. The service is also lousy unlike PC which provides a lot of training and sharing . After covid ....I will close this account and switch to PC.
Deplorable!
Deplorable and extremely shoddy user interface. Totally inept application and practically useless. Zero customer focus. Antiquated and illogical design and workflows. How was this approved for production use?
The UOB Kay Hian app is a masterclass in how not to build a trading platform. The user interface is painfully outdated, unintuitive, and riddled with bugs that make even the simplest actions feel like a chore. Navigating the app feels like being trapped in a maze designed by someone who has never traded a day in their life.
Basic features like portfolio tracking, trade execution, and even logging in are clunky and unreliable. Screens are poorly organized, laggy, and look like they were last updated in the early 2000s.
This app is not just a poor user experience—it’s an embarrassment. In an age where sleek, responsive, and functional fintech apps are the norm, UOB Kay Hian’s offering sticks out like a sore thumb for all the wrong reasons. It feels like the developers simply gave up halfway through and said, “That’ll do.”
Avoid this app unless you enjoy frustration and missed opportunities. UOB Kay Hian seriously needs to take a long, hard look at this mess and ask themselves if this is the best they can do. Because right now, it’s not just underwhelming—it’s disgraceful.
User interface fit for the 20th century
I just opened a UOBKH account last month. This is very shocking from one of the largest banks in Singapore! Their brokering arm (UTRADE) has a terrible user interface that is fit for the first mobile phone invented. Font sizes are terribly small and screen does not fit the current iOS (iOS 13). It does not seem like they bother investing in the customer experience. Went on to the website to see if that version is any different from the app but unsurprisingly, it isn’t. It was laggy and difficult to navigate. Really hope they revamp the website and app soon. I will definitely switch to a different broker if this isn’t fixed.
