App works weirdly recently

Have been using Viu premium for almost 2 years and has been satisfied with it until these recent months. I used to turn off mobile data for the app so when I’m outside I can watch my downloaded shows but recently the app started to use my mobile data even when it’s disabled in settings? The app also hangs very frequently; esp after watching my downloaded videos, the next time I open the app it hangs and I have to close and open it again. It’s even worse on tv, keeps showing network error and some shows load but some doesn’t? Have to open and close the app several times for it to work. The most annoying is how one episode doesn’t load but the next one is okay? Might reconsider renewing my premium membership if this carries on

Scenes gets cuts and freezes

Offering of shows are decent however much more to improve on.

INTERFACE
Interface-wise can add more buttons and keyboard shortcuts on app or on computer.

Videos freezes in almost every video once you watch to around the 3/4
mark - and always shows a message ‘Unable to load video”. You will have to close and open again.

Videos don’t always start where I left off if i click on a drama that is recommended.

Hope that a 5s forward/backward button would be added instead of scrubbing when using mobile devices, coz it’s coz very hard to control the timing. Hope they would add speed button.

NOT GETTING FULL SHOW
A LOT of the shows has SCENES THAT GETS CUT!
I just realised it after watching dramas/movies that I have watched before outside of Viu, and then when I watched it on Viu the scenes are missing!
It’s not even like R-rated or gory/violent scenes, it’s very normal scenes that gets cut. I think they’re just trying to cut down on time spent to subtitling the videos.

Example would be in Outdaughtered S2 a scene with Uncle Dale admitting that Riley learnt a word from him; or the first few minutes in Running Man episodes gets cut - these seemingly normal scenes gets cut.

So if u think u got a good deal waiting for dramas or movies especially Korean ones then you’re wrong, you won’t get be watching the full thing, meaning u missed out on some scenes that are in the original film.

Good but Chromecast doesn’t work

App itself is OK, no complaints. However chromecast doesn’t work on iPhone, I’m able to connect & cast but the connection keeps dropping. Only way to bypass this is downloading the episode on my iPhone and cast from there, and even that doesn’t work all the time. I’m only able to cast via iPad.

Would be good if we can download 1 whole season of episodes at the same time via 1 button, or at least not need to click on every single episode to download episodes. It is tedious!

Would love if you guys could diversify more & bring on Taiwanese dramas (recent and airing)! There is a huge market in SG for it :)
