Description
VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player.
It can play all your movies, shows and music in most formats directly without conversion.
It allows file synchronization with Dropbox, GDrive, OneDrive, Box, iCloud Drive, iTunes, direct downloads and through Wi-Fi sharing as well as streaming from SMB, FTP, SFTP, NFS, UPnP/DLNA media servers and the web.
VLC offers support for advanced subtitles including full SSA compatibility, multi-track audio, playback speed control and rendering through Chromecast.

Bug report: video with longer filename is not displayed in the “video” table
When downloading a video within VLC, the video with longer file name will not display inside the vlc video library, but still in apple files.
The workaround is to rename it shorter from apple files. Thanks.

The ability of the VLC app to play almost all types of video and sound files is simply a great feature that apple devices are lacking, pair that with the ability of VLC to find subtitles for all your downloaded movies, so you can watch them with subtitles without wifi, non laggy, and can comtinue where you left off. It even works s a music player with random and skip functions for those who downloaded their music online and cant get them into apple music. Great alternative for everythingIOS Is missing out on!
PS: if you domt want to download all the files manually, drag and drop the files into the vlc folder in on my ipad on the files app.
Quick pauses & playing from last known time.
I love how this app can allow me to play flac files while my screen is off. However, there are frequent quick pauses which kinda destroy the vibe of the music. These pauses then to happen when I turn my screen off or when I use other apps while I listen. Also, I would love the option to choose to always play the song from the beginning. The song starting to play a few seconds into the song is a vibe destroyer as well.
Another problem is that it does not even see some of the songs that I loaded in from iTunes…
