Description
WiFox is a continually updated map of airport and lounge wifi passwords from around the world. In map view, you can tap any wifi icon where wireless information is available, and use the button to copy the password to the clipboard. The map is available offline so you don’t need an Internet connection to use WiFox when you’re traveling.
*Click Copy to easily paste passwords into wireless network settings.
*Users can also add passwords they find from airports around the world. Those passwords are then sent to foXnoMad for verification and approval before they are added to the map.
*In ‘List View’ you can update passwords for airports already added (when you’ve noticed some changes). As you travel you can also rate the wireless hotspot information to let us know if the details worked for you or not. Based on traveler feedback, the connection information is updated, verified, or removed.
*WiFox icons indicate how fresh, reliable, and highly rated a given airport wireless network’s information is.
*WiFox is updated continuously with information travelers, pilots, and other users send through the WiFox app, foXnoMad website, and foXnoMad Facebook and Twitter accounts. WiFox currently has wireless Internet information for over 700 airports around the world.
*The map is updated automatically upon opening the app (when you have Internet access) or by clicking the ‘Update’ button on the map or refresh icon on the List View.
*WiFox also protects users on free (open) wifi networks by telling you the proper network name, so you don't unintentionally connect to a rogue or malicious access point.

Update in response to developer's reply:
If you go to any other paid app on app store you would notice there is a price tag to it prior to download. If it's not there and no indication of costs anywhere; it is deem free to download unless there's a in-app purchase which I didn't get.
Any users who is interested please feel free to leave a msg here; I'd be more than willing to send through screen shots if developer's still don't admit or make changes to such sleazy tactic.
I downloaded this app last week on the way to my flight and it didn't help me with the wifi for the airport I was in which was fine.. but it was free to download and there isn't any payment I need to be made for using the app.
Today a week later I received a invoice from Apple. Who knows what this app will do if further installed on the phone? I deleted it without further ado and would suggest no one install this or any app from this developer.

This is not true - there is no free version of WiFox. You either paid for it or didn't and if you didn't, you wouldn't have the app.
[EDIT: updated]: Again, the price is listed in the App Store. I don't control the store, only the app. I can't do any of the deceptive practices you state above, even if I were motivated to do so (obviously I am not). I've reported your comment to Apple in the event there was some error on their part - as unlikely as it seems based on what you've described.
Worth to try but lack of some country
Very useful app as I am traveller too. But this app lack some countries such as Singapore, Myanmar, etc. Anyway good app especially for frequent flyers.
